About the Book
Everett Dwyer comes to Sagekeep searching for the Maelum. Instead, he finds an ancient scroll said to contain a spell. A spell that once banished the demons from Gyra.
With those demons now returning, the Scroll may be the only thing capable of sending them back. Yet none of the sage students at Sagekeep are capable of casting it. When Everett watches one of them try, the man tears out his own eyes.
No one can explain why those who attempt its magic are destroyed. The only clue is a symbol carved into the chest that guards the Scroll. Everett knows that symbol. It belongs to the Maelum.
The forgotten religion may hold the secret to casting the Scroll of Recall and banishing the demons once more.
Yet someone still has to cast it.
